"The best part was how different it was from all the other Bridal showers I've been to. Of course, we had our own share of gift-giving, but somehow it felt more unique and personal And the clincher, of course, was the massages.
The bride wanted to be somewhere sunny and warm for her pre-wedding party and asked Marjorie to find the spot. The bride and five lucky friends (and her Mom) tripped to Jamaica -no, not Queens, the West Indies, and spent a long weekend luxuriating, swimming, playing tennis, doing yoga, hiking...and watching incredible sunset views while being waited on hand and foot.
New York fashion designer Helena Flecker, owner HFG design, Inc. asked Marjorie to help her create a day-long wedding shower-spa in her own East Hampton home on the ocean. She wanted to treat her friend Stephanie to a totally relaxing event as an antidote to their hectic lives in New York City. Helena described the event as "Delicious! Delightful!" and said "If we could, we would do it monthly. Everyone agreed it was the most wonderful and fun shower they had ever been to, and we all felt better then we had in weeks."
